NEW ORLEANS, LA (June 12, 2020) – The Landing at Behrman Place Retirement Community, a premier, all-inclusive, resort-style independent living community in the scenic West Bank of New Orleans, has appointed Bill Dwyer to the position of Executive Director. With more than 30 years senior management experience in the hospitality industry, Dwyer will be responsible for daily operations, financials, marketing, government and community relations, and all healthy and safety programs including new heightened procedures and protocol to prevent and mitigate COVID-19 infection.

During this nearly three-decade tenure, he oversaw a wide range of functions including overall hotel administration and finances, food and beverage operations, sales and marketing, training, and community relations. He remains a strong advocate for adoption, recognized for his volunteerism by the National Association of Adoptable Children and Easter’s Child Adoption Awareness. Dwyer was also commended by President Ronald Reagan for his private sector work for adoption.
