Richard Govoni has joined as Executive Director along with Jocelyn Fitzgibbons as Community Development Director and Todd McGovern as the community’s Executive Chef.
When construction is complete, The Woods at Merrimack will feature 140 thoughtfully designed apartments on beautifully landscaped grounds with an array of world-class amenities to appeal to today’s more modern and active senior. As Executive Director, Govoni, a 15-year industry veteran from nearby Londonderry, New Hampshire, brings an outstanding track record serving in senior administration roles at other local senior communities plus an unwavering dedication to serving and enriching the lives of seniors. Govoni will lead all day-to-day management ensuring alignment with the company’s Person-Centered Care approach and values, while overseeing all quality assurance, marketing, and community relations initiatives. Govoni holds at Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from University of Connecticut, and is a Certified Director of Assisted Living and a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
Fitzgibbons, who hails from North Andover, has nearly 15 years of community sales, marketing and community relations experience. As Community Development Director, she is responsible for building strong and supportive relationships with the local community and growing awareness of the exceptional offerings and amenities at The Woods at Merrimack that have been meticulously developed to enriching the lives of its residents.
Executive Chef McGovern, from New Boston, New Hampshire, comes to The Woods at Merrimack with approximately 15 years of culinary expertise including management roles with Hilton and Marriott. He will be responsible for the community’s innovative, all-day dining program at the in-house Farmhouse Grille restaurant featuring gourmet food prepared with the freshest ingredients. The restaurant will offer a variety of high-quality dining options to accommodate various health restrictions and lifestyle preferences, such as gluten-free, low-fat or sugar-free diets.
