It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like an Extremely Happy (and Busy) Holiday Season

You’d better watch out. No sooner did you finish that last bite of Thanksgiving pumpkin pie and whipped cream, the entire world suddenly became a wonderland of silver bells, stockings and snowmen, candy canes and colored lights, papered-packages and poinsettias. Yes, it’s only December 1, but the holidays are upon us in full force. And “full” is exactly how you’d describe the calendars at most Sunshine Retirement Communities, leading up to Hanukah and Christmas Eve.

From coast to coast, every community will offer a number of holiday-related activities to get residents in the spirit of the season. Many take place within the communities themselves and have become time-honored traditions. Others invite residents to venture out to join their neighbors in festive displays, performances and celebrations. Of course, if we mentioned every single holiday happening in this article, it might take you a full 12 days of Christmas to read them and you’d miss out on some wonderful experiences.
